Introducing the Teach For America–Greater Nashville Blog

Teach For America–Greater Nashville launches its new blog, "Tuesdays with TFA!"
Tuesday, January 31, 2017

Greetings, all, and welcome to the NEW Teach For America–Greater Nashville Blog! Here in the Greater Nashville region, we, like many of you, are starting off the year with a keen eye turned towards goal setting and attainment. One major goal we have this year is to build a more comprehensive online presence in order to better highlight the amazing work being done in our community, as well as to better connect our corps members, partners, alumni, and prospective corps members.

So, what can you expect from this blog?

Timing: Posts will come every other Tuesday. Welcome to Tuesdays with TFA!

Content: You can look forward to a number of recurring blog series, including alumni spotlights, updates from our executive director, Ben Schumacher, and school profiles. Additionally, we will post relevant material related to what’s going in with Teach For America, opportunities to get involved, what’s going on in the Nashville education community, notes from students, and more!

Authors: We hope that this blog will be a reflection of our community, and as such, we hope to rely heavily on contributors among our corps member and alumni base. The blog will be managed and edited by Megan Huggard and Brynn Plummer, the region's Alumni Leadership team. If you’re ever interested in contributing, let us know! We’d love to highlight you and your work.

For our first post, we leave you with a message from our fearless leader, Ben Schumacher. Have a great week everyone, and we hope you visit this page again soon!
